Better less known than lost to IndexArticles

I have always wished if I would have more time to investigate and publish articles from my collection, but it has not been realized due to ever increasing demand from my business. Thus today I thought that it's better to publish now than in the future.

Years have passed since I found the following less known Großdeutschland markings.

The first marking is found on a 11.Kp (Cnn) tiger tank of the Panzer Regiment. On its superstructure front, the panzer rhomboid accompanied by "11" is clearly shown in this photo. I can't tell its color but certainly not black, possibly red (or pink)... Low visibility is the reason it's not been documented often I think. The tiger from the front also shows the marking, albeit vaguely.

The next one is related to one of my favorite subjects, Panzer IV mit Vorpanzer. Once I acquired a great photograph of a GD Panzer IV Vorpanzer. The tank was so clean, probably painted in gray, and I was very happy. Later I received the actual photo, and I was amazed! It is so rare to find a GD monogram on a Panzer.

I hope you liked these. It's better to publish it (if not known widely) than to think publishing it "later", which could well never realize.
