Here is a page from a British tank recognition manual. Richly illustrated, British army offered the best recognition manual to its soldiers, compared to other countries (in my opinion anyway). Here is the U.S.War Department counterpart, and Wehrmacht counterpart. For a long time I had not been able to acquire H.Dv.469/2a but recently always helpful Helmut Weitze provided me with both H.Dv.469/2a and H.Dv.469/3a (with full Anlagen of course!).

Here are the documents I purchased: contents ofH.Dv.469/2a - one manual, four appendix tables. Panzererkennungstafel-2 is the large poster to pin on the walls. Periodically new manuals were provided as Deckblatt (2 such Deckblätter are shown in the photo). When the new tables are received, old ones must have been destroyed. of course, these documents are not to be fallen in enemy hands (Nicht in Feindeshand fallen lassen!).

I am still searching for Russian counterpart. If anyone has it, I will offer the best price.
